What the Blindspot scan is, what it deliberately is not, and the limits of what a public-record result can tell you.

The Service
Blindspot, operated by FanTazTech LLC, reads publicly available records about a domain and returns a grade and a list of findings. It is free to run and requires no account.
What It Is Not
Blindspot is not a penetration test. It does not log into anything, test a password, exploit a weakness, or access a private network. It reads records that are already public, in the same way anyone else could look them up.
A result is not a certification, an audit, or evidence of compliance with any framework. A clean grade means the supported public checks found nothing at the time of the scan. It does not mean a business is secure, and it does not mean nothing was missed.
Blindspot does not fix anything. It reports what it can see, and the work of changing a record or closing a service remains yours or your IT provider's.
Acceptable Use
Scan a domain you own or operate, or one you have permission to assess. Do not use Blindspot to build target lists, to harass an organization, or in any way that breaks the law where you are.
The free scanner is rate limited. Automated or bulk use without written agreement is not permitted.
Accuracy and Corrections
Findings are drawn from third-party public sources and from records that change without notice, so a result describes a moment rather than a permanent state. We work to make findings correct and we do not guarantee that every result is complete or free of error.
If you believe a finding about your domain is wrong, tell us at [email protected] and we will recheck it at no cost. A finding that cannot be reproduced is removed. How each check is confirmed is documented on the methodology page.
Liability
The scan is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, FanTazTech LLC is not liable for losses arising from reliance on a result, from a finding that was not reported, or from action taken or not taken on the basis of a grade.
Your Data
How a submitted domain is handled is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top records when. Continued use after that date means the updated terms apply.
